Collin Street Bottega Veneta smashed in Melbourne ram raid as Victoria Police investigate




Handbags, shoes and jewellery have been taken from a high-end designer store after it was smashed into during a burglary in Melbourne’s CBD.

Victoria Police were told a black SUV reversed into Bottega Veneta on Collins Street about 3.40am on Wednesday before it reversed and smashed forward into the store.

Two men are then believed to have gotten out of the car and entered through the smashed glass window.

They made off with a number of items.

The value and description of the stolen items is still being determined, but they are believed to be handbags, shoes, accessories, jewellery and fragrances.

A crime scene has been set up at the store.
