Lake Bolac will be the location of talks shared on tactics to grow quality legume and pulse crops that boost profits, soil nitrogen levels and benefit future crops. The Grains Research and Development Corporation (GRDC) Boosting On Farm Nitrogen Fixation in Pulses pre-sowing workshops will feature leading researchers and cover topics including inoculation, nodulation and nitrogen fixation of crops such as chickpeas, lupins, lentils and faba beans. Growers who attend will also take part in an interactive session to learn how to conduct nodulation assessments using supplied plant samples.
