UPDATE 11:30AM The rescued climber, who became trapped at Mt Arapiles on Thursday afternoon, has been flown to a Melbourne hospital and is in a serious condition. Ambulance Victoria said a man was flown to the Royal Melbourne Hospital by the Air Ambulance helicopter after an incident at Mt Arapiles yesterday afternoon. The man was flown to Melbourne at about 7pm last night and remains in a serious with upper body injuries. Stawell SES controller Alan Blight said the Horsham, Stawell and Ararat SES responded to the incident to help rescue the man from the cliff face.
