Police are searching for a three-month-old baby believed to have been taken by his mother from a home in Melbourne’s west.

Gobrielle, also known as Gob, was last seen at an address in Footscray around 11am on Friday.

Victoria Police believe the child’s mother Ajak took the boy.

They say they hold concerns for the boy’s welfare.

Detectives have released a photo of Ajak in the hopes someone recognises her and knows her whereabouts.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Crime Stoppers.
